Salty Service Reporting
As Christians, the Holy Spirit transforms us, giving us special unique gifts, talents and strengths which we are able to use for God's Kingdom work, helping us to be part of God's plan and have true meaning in our lives. (If you do not know what your spiritual gifts are, take a moment to print out and take the special Spiritual Gifts Assessment located here. After you take the assessment, if you need help finding out how you can use your spiritual gifts to further God's Kindom, contact the church here.) When we use these gifts to Share God's Grace with those outside our church, we are being the "salt of the earth," just as Jesus taught. Focusing outward and helping others in need is what we call "salty service." It's a way we can give back to God. It's about the giving of ourselves to serve others in our community. Help us take it to the streets by giving at least an hour of your time each week.To assist us in evaluating how we're growing in "salty service" as a church, please fill out the form below weekly to report your weekly (Sunday to Sunday) participation in an hour or more of volunteer work outside the church. (examples: volunteered at a hospital, delivered meals on wheels, served in the soup kitchen, thrift store, etc.) Use your own judgment as to whether or not your service fits the criteria! Make only one report per week for all of your salty service over one hour each week.
Fill out the form below and when you have entered the information click "submit."
