Local Missions

Explore the opportunities to be salty servants to the people in Jacksonville and the Jacksonville Beaches, through Isle of Faith's local mission partners. Choose one of the missions below:

  • Acts 2-4: Emergency one time (within 12 month period) financial assistance for those in Isle of Faith's family (rent, utilities, gas money, prescriptions, etc.). Church members doante money to this fund, which is distributed on an as needed basis determined by the pastor and church staff. You can donate to this fund one time or sign up to be a regular partner. Contact Debbie Giroux.

  • Adopt A Road: Isle of Faith has adopted San Pablo road from Atlantic Blvd to Osprey Pointe as part of the "clean it up, green it up" campaign. teams of volunteers don reflective vests and pick up trash along the roadway.

  • BEAM-Beaches Emergency Assistance Ministry: BEAM assists the needy with a beaches or intracoastal address. They provide emergency food, school supplies and tax preparation assisance. IOF could use a team captain to coordinate BEAM efforts.

  • Beaches Habitat For Humanity: Isle of Faith partners with Beaches Habitat for Humanity to build affordable housing in the Jacksonville Beaches area. Contact Hewlett Belisaro.

  • Blood Alliance Bloodmobile: Isle of Faith hosts the bloodmobile four times per year. Contact Kim Larsen.

  • Food Certificates: Gift cards from Publix that provide $5 for food items only. To provide temporary food assistance until a client can see an agency for more assistance. Your donation to this fund would be helpful! Contact Debbie Giroux.

  • Hodges Cluster Homes: A group from Isle of Faith visits with the severely disabled residents of Hodges Cluster Homes on the 2nd Saturday of each month at 9:30 am. They sing, share bible stories and give hugs. All salty servants welcome! Contact Kathy White.

  • Meals On Wheels: Isle of Faith has several teams of people who deliver prepared meals to shut-ins at lunch time through Meals On Wheels. Team deliver one day per week or alternating weeks. Contact Paul Grafton.

  • Mission House Soup Kitchen:  Isle of Faith teams prepare and serve the dinner meal at the Soup Kitchen in Mission House in Jacksonville Beach on the 4th Friday of the month. IOF also prepares and serves the mid-day meal on the 2nd Sunday in even numbered months. Salty servants may volunteers for Friday soup kitchen by contacting Amanda Browning.
